Functional Medicine

Our Story & Belief...

Many people we've encountered throughout several years are unaware (including some doctors), that “doctor” means teacher. So, when was the first or last time your doctor taught you something about health and healing?

Through the years my findings have been, to be a good teacher, there are 4 very important aspects to education: Asking the right questions to understand. Listening with Intention… truly paying attention to the speaker (do you recall the last time your doctor did that???). Team or Integrated approach to find the "root causes" of your symptoms to develop an individualized care plan (you also being a member of the team). Explaining your/our next steps simply, while helping to ensure everyone's understanding. With that said, there may be a surprise... this is where the Functional Medicine process of treatment successfully begins… with our team asking you a lot of detailed questions (from the initial call to the comprehensive exam), then really listening to YOUR details of how you presently feel about your condition and how it's affecting your quality of life!

We VALUE the importance of Functional Medicine so much, that we continue all 4 aspects throughout YOUR CARE.
